Searches like "harga lunc", "harga koin lunc hari ini", "lunc to idr" and "indodax lunc" show how many Indonesians follow Terra Classic. The good news is that LUNC is legal to trade here: it sits on the official crypto asset list, and three OJK-licensed apps offer it. Indodax has the only rupiah pair, while Tokocrypto and Bittime trade it against USDT.
The less obvious parts are the ones that cost people money: a rupiah order book that is very thin, a "LUNA" ticker that means a different coin, a popular app that converted users' LUNC at Rp 1, and a tax rate that is five times higher on foreign platforms. This guide covers each one. If you are new to the coin, start with what LUNC is.
Why Indonesia is different for LUNC
Most Asian countries either have no rules that cover LUNC or no licensed venue that lists it. Indonesia has both a clear rulebook and an official asset list, and LUNC is on that list. That puts it with Thailand among the few places in the region where you can buy LUNC on a locally licensed app with local money.
Indonesia is also a market with a long LUNC history. Local media covered Terra Classic's price swings in 2022, and Indodax has kept a rupiah market for it. What Indonesia lacks is depth: most local LUNC volume runs through USDT pairs, and the rupiah book is a small fraction of Bitkub's baht book. We found no Terra Classic validator with a confirmed Indonesian link and no verified Indonesian LUNC community group. One validator uses the Garuda name, but we found no Indonesian connection on its site.
OJK rules and the official asset list
Crypto supervision moved from Bappebti to OJK on 10 January 2025, under the financial sector law (Law 4/2023, known as P2SK) and Government Regulation 49/2024. The main rule is POJK 27/2024, which classifies crypto as a digital financial asset ("aset keuangan digital"). Licensed traders are called PAKD. OJK counted 28 of them as of September 2026, after publishing a whitelist in December 2025. Indodax, Tokocrypto and Bittime are all on it.
Assets need to be on an approved list before a PAKD can offer them. The CFX exchange's crypto asset list returns exactly one match for LUNC, shown below. OJK and the Satgas PASTI task force have also shut down 228 illegal platforms as of May 2026, so the list cuts both ways: LUNC is allowed, but only through licensed apps.

Where LUNC trades locally
We checked the licensed apps that publish data. Three list LUNC, and several large apps do not. Our exchange list covers global venues too.
| App | LUNC pairs | What stands out | How to buy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Indodax | LUNC/IDR, LUNC/USDT | Only rupiah book; thin | Use limit orders |
| Tokocrypto | LUNC/USDT | Binance-group liquidity | Rupiah to USDT first |
| Bittime | LUNC/USDT | Busiest local USDT book in our check | Rupiah to USDT first |
| Pintu | None | Delisted; converted at Rp 1 | Not tradable |
| Reku, Upbit Indonesia | None | No LUNC listed | Not tradable |
Check the listIndodax and the rupiah book
Indodax, run by PT Indodax Nasional Indonesia and founded in 2014 as Bitcoin.co.id, is the only licensed app with LUNC/IDR. It is a CFX member and an OJK-supervised PAKD. Its published fees for LUNC/IDR are 0.10% for makers and 0.20% for takers, with Indonesian taxes and the CFX levy on top, and the minimum order is Rp 10,000.
The rupiah book is thin, small enough in our checks that a single mid-size order can move the price. Its LUNC/USDT pair is close to empty, with a wide gap between bid and ask. Use LUNC/IDR with limit orders, and split larger buys over time. Two more points: LUNC deposits to Indodax need a memo, and its LUNC withdrawal fee is not published openly, so check the withdrawal screen. Indodax lost about US$22 million in a hot-wallet exploit in September 2024, said customer assets were safe and covered the loss. Our Indodax review goes deeper.
Tokocrypto and Bittime
Tokocrypto was founded in 2018 and is part of the Binance group, which reportedly took a majority stake in 2022. It lists LUNC/USDT only, with a 5 USDT minimum order and a tight spread, because its book appears to draw on Binance liquidity. It clears through the ICEx exchange rather than CFX, and its company name differs between the OJK list (PT Aset Digital Berkat) and its app listing (PT Crypto Indonesia Berkat), which can confuse first-time users. The route is rupiah to USDT, then USDT to LUNC. See our Tokocrypto review.
Bittime, run by PT Utama Aset Digital Indonesia since 2022, is a CFX member and states an OJK business license (KEP-11/D.07/2025). It also lists LUNC/USDT only, with a very low minimum order of 0.7 USDT. In our checks its LUNC book was busier than Tokocrypto's, which makes it worth comparing on price. Fees and LUNC withdrawal details are not published openly. Our Bittime review covers the rest.
Most volume runs through USDT
The rupiah pair is the simplest to use, but the deeper LUNC books in Indonesia are LUNC/USDT. Compare the final coin count, not just the quoted price.
What happened at Pintu
Pintu is one of Indonesia's best-known apps, and many users first bought LUNC there. Pintu announced changes to LUNC in July 2022 and then ended LUNC activity entirely. At 23:59 WIB on 30 May 2023, remaining LUNC balances were converted to IDRT at Rp 1 per LUNC.
Pintu's data feed still shows an old lunc/idr row frozen at 1 with no change. That row is a leftover from the conversion, not a live market, and LUNC is missing from Pintu's supported coins. If a price site or bot quotes "LUNC at Rp 1 on Pintu", ignore it. The lesson is broader too: exchanges can delist a coin, so keep long-term LUNC in a wallet you control.
Harga LUNC in rupiah
The live board at the top of this page shows "harga lunc hari ini" in rupiah, based on market data. Indodax's own price can sit a few percent above or below a conversion of the Binance dollar price, because a thin book follows its own buyers and sellers. For the global chart and market cap, see the LUNC price page, and for other currency pairs use the LUNC converter.
A labeled example: if LUNC traded at Rp 0.80 on Indodax, Rp 100,000 would buy 125,000 LUNC. A 0.20% taker fee would leave about 124,750 LUNC, and the 0.21% final tax is charged on the transaction value on top. On a coin with a supply in the trillions, the price per unit stays tiny in rupiah, so judge a position by its total value. Forecasts live on our prediction page.
Bank transfer, QRIS and P2P
Licensed apps take rupiah by bank transfer and virtual account from banks such as BCA, Mandiri, BRI, BNI and Permata. Some apps also accept QRIS and e-wallets such as OVO, DANA and GoPay, though support varies by app and changes over time. Deposit from an account in your own name; withdrawals usually go only to a bank account in your own name as well.
Binance's global P2P desk shows plenty of rupiah ads for USDT and none for LUNC. Binance.com is not a licensed Indonesian trader, so P2P there puts you outside OJK protection and into the 1% foreign tax rate. P2P also carries a local risk: funds routed through "rekening penampung" mule accounts, often linked to online gambling, can get your bank account frozen. For most Indonesians, a licensed app is cheaper and safer.
Holding a card and no local account?
Visitors can buy USDT by card after verification and send it to an exchange that lists LUNC. Residents usually pay less tax through a licensed Indonesian app.
The exchange behind our buttons is CEX.IO, running since 2013. It sells USDT by Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay after verification, with rupiah cards converted at your bank's rate. It does not list LUNC. In Asia its services come from CEX OVRS LLC in St Kitts and Nevis, which holds no Asian license and is not a PAKD, so trades there count as foreign-platform trades for tax purposes.
Tax: 0.21% or 1%
PMK 50/2025, in force since 1 August 2025, set a simple structure. Sales through a domestic licensed trader carry a 0.21% final income tax (PPh 22) on the transaction value. Sales through a foreign platform carry 1%. VAT on crypto delivery was removed. Because it is a final tax on value, you pay it whether the trade made or lost money.
| Where you sell | Rate | Tax on Rp 10 million |
|---|---|---|
| Licensed Indonesian trader (PAKD) | 0.21% final PPh 22 | Rp 21,000 |
| Foreign platform | 1% | Rp 100,000 |
| VAT on crypto delivery | Removed | Rp 0 |
Licensed apps withhold the domestic rate for you, which is another reason to stay local. The 1.5% on-chain LUNC burn tax is a network fee, not an Indonesian tax, and only applies when you move coins on-chain. You can follow how much it has burned on the burn tracker.
A practical route for Indonesian residents
This is the route we would explain to a reader in Jakarta or Surabaya. It stays inside licensed apps for the buy and only leaves them if you choose self-custody. The general process is in our how to buy LUNC guide.
Pick a licensed app and verify
Indodax for a direct rupiah pair, Tokocrypto or Bittime for LUNC/USDT. KYC uses your KTP; foreign residents usually need a KITAS.
Deposit rupiah from your own account
Use a bank transfer, virtual account, or QRIS where the app supports it. The sender name must match your verified name.
Buy LUNC with a limit order
On Indodax, use LUNC/IDR, not the near-empty LUNC/USDT pair. On Tokocrypto or Bittime, buy USDT first and then LUNC/USDT.
Check the ticker one last time
LUNA on Indodax is Terra 2.0. Terra Classic is always LUNC on Indonesian apps. See LUNC vs LUNA.
Hold, stake or withdraw
To stake, withdraw to a native wallet such as Galaxy Station or Keplr. Expect the app’s fee plus the 1.5% on-chain burn tax.
If you move LUNC to your own wallet, you can stake it for a real yield of about 2% a year, with a 21-day unbonding period; see the staking guide. When sending LUNC back to an Indonesian app, always include the memo the app shows.
For a regional view, Malaysia has no registered exchange showing LUNC, Singapore is stricter still, and the Philippines has no local LUNC venue. The Asia hub compares all eleven markets.
FAQ
Is LUNC legal in Indonesia?
Yes. LUNC is on the official list of tradable crypto assets kept by the CFX exchange, entry LUNC-1183 under the name Terra Classic, effective 18 February 2024. Licensed traders supervised by OJK may offer it, and Indodax, Tokocrypto and Bittime do.
Where can I buy LUNC with IDR?
Indodax is the only licensed platform with a LUNC/IDR pair, and its order book is thin, so use limit orders. Tokocrypto and Bittime list LUNC against USDT only, so you buy USDT with rupiah first and then trade it for LUNC.
Where can I see the LUNC to IDR price?
The live board at the top of this page shows LUNC in rupiah. Indodax’s own LUNC/IDR price can differ by a few percent from a conversion of the Binance dollar price because its book is small. For other conversions, use our LUNC converter.
Does Pintu still have LUNC?
No. Pintu delisted LUNC and converted remaining balances to IDRT at Rp 1 per LUNC at the end of May 2023. Its data feed still shows an old lunc/idr row priced at 1, but that is a leftover, not a live market.
How is crypto taxed in Indonesia?
Under PMK 50/2025, in force since 1 August 2025, sales through domestic licensed traders carry a 0.21% final income tax on the transaction value, and sales through foreign platforms carry 1%. VAT on crypto delivery was removed. Your local app normally withholds the domestic rate for you.
Is LUNA on Indodax the same as LUNC?
No. On Indodax the LUNA/IDR market is Terra 2.0, a different coin priced far higher per unit. Terra Classic trades as LUNC/IDR and LUNC/USDT. Always check the ticker and the price magnitude before you buy.
