Verdict and score
Binance TR is the simplest way for a Turkish resident to turn lira into Terra Classic. It lists LUNC_TRY, and that market is not a small local copy. The order book is the same one Binance runs globally for LUNC against the lira, which in our checks was the largest local-currency LUNC market in the world, at roughly a third of all LUNC spot volume on Binance. You get Binance-depth pricing, a 10-lira minimum order and a highly rated app with a very large review count.
The weak points are paperwork and exits. Binance TR sits on the Capital Markets Board’s transitional list of operating platforms, and the board says plainly that the list is not an authorisation. Its fee schedule and LUNC withdrawal rules are not published anywhere we could read, and Binance-group LUNC withdrawals were paused for wallet maintenance when we checked. We score it 7.3 out of 10.

Here is how the parts add up. Liquidity (9): the shared Binance book is far deeper than any other lira option for LUNC. Fees (6): third-party sources put spot trading at about 0.1%, but we found no official fee page, and the cost of withdrawing LUNC is not public. Local funding (8): a direct lira pair means one trade instead of two, though e-money wallets are off-limits by Turkish law. Regulation and safety (5): provisional listing only, plus a 2021 anti-money-laundering fine. App and support (8.5): 4.74 stars from about 184,000 ratings on the Turkish App Store.

The shared LUNC/TRY book
Binance TR’s LUNC_TRY is what its API calls a “type 1” symbol, and in practice it mirrors Binance’s global LUNCTRY market. When we compared the two order books in the same minute, the best bid, the best ask and the sizes behind them were identical. That matters in two ways. Your order meets everyone on Binance who trades LUNC against the lira, not only Turkish app users, so a larger order moves the price less. And any volume figure quoted for “Binance TR LUNC” is really a Binance-wide number for the lira pair; nobody publishes a Turkey-only figure.
LUNC is priced at a few tenths of a kuruş, so even a modest lira deposit buys millions of coins. The LUNC converter in the hero shows the live lira value, and the LUNC price page has the chart. Turkish platforms are a minefield for ticker mix-ups, because the big local brands either skip LUNC or list only Terra 2.0 under the LUNA name. The table shows where LUNC really trades.
| Exchange | LUNC market | “LUNA” there means | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Binance TR | LUNC_TRY | Terra 2.0 | Shared Binance book |
| Bitlo | LUNC-USDT only | Terra 2.0 | Thin book, wide spread |
| BtcTurk | None | Terra 2.0 | Its LUNA_TRY is not LUNC |
| Paribu | None | — | No LUNC or LUNA market |
| OKX TR | None | Terra 2.0 | OKX dropped LUNC in 2025 |
Fees and minimums
Third-party sources put Binance TR’s spot trading fee at about 0.1%, but we could not find an official fee page to confirm it, so check the fee page in the app before you trade. If the 0.1% figure holds, a worked example looks like this: buying 1,000 TRY of LUNC would cost about 1 lira in trading fees. The minimum order is 10 TRY, and quantities move in steps of 1 LUNC, so you can start very small while you learn how the order book behaves.
Taking LUNC off the exchange has two separate costs. The first is the exchange’s own fixed LUNC fee, which Binance TR does not publish openly; its network endpoint returned nothing when we looked. The second is the chain itself. Terra Classic deducts a 1.5% burn tax on transfers, set by governance in proposal 12223 and changeable by a future vote. Binance has a tax-exemption zone on chain, but it covers only transfers inside the zone, so withdrawals to your own wallet still pay. For reference, Binance TH publishes a LUNC withdrawal fee of 22.66 LUNC with a 25,000 LUNC minimum. Binance TR’s numbers may differ.
Lira in, lira out
Platforms on the SPK list are funded by ordinary lira bank transfers such as FAST and EFT from an account in your own name. We could not confirm Binance TR’s exact deposit limits or which banks, if any, get free lira withdrawals, so read the deposit screen rather than relying on forum posts. One rule is firm. Turkey’s regulation on crypto payments, published in the Official Gazette on 16 April 2021 and in force from 30 April 2021, bars payment and e-money institutions from moving money to or from crypto platforms. Papara and similar wallets are not a route.
Expect waiting periods too. MASAK rules reported in force since 28 June 2025 cap stablecoin transfers at $3,000 a day and $50,000 a month, and allow crypto withdrawals only 48 hours after a purchase or deposit, or 72 hours for the first one. Binance.com’s peer-to-peer market had no LUNC ads at all when we checked, and its USDT ads in lira carried a premium of a few percent over spot. Binance.com is also not the entity on the SPK list. For most readers, a bank transfer into Binance TR beats P2P on both cost and legal clarity.
Prefer to start with a card?
CEX.IO, running since 2013, sells USDT by Visa or Mastercard after verification. It does not list LUNC and is not on the SPK list, so treat it only as a USDT on-ramp, then move the USDT to an exchange with a LUNC market.
How to buy LUNC on Binance TR
The route is short because there is a direct lira pair. Allow time for verification and for the MASAK holding period before you plan any withdrawal. Our full LUNC buying guide covers the other routes if you are outside Turkey.
Open and verify your account
Install the Binance TR app from the official site and complete identity verification. Use the same name as your Turkish bank account.
Send lira by bank transfer
Deposit TRY from your own account via the deposit screen. E-money wallets cannot be used for crypto platforms under the 2021 payment regulation.
Find LUNC_TRY, not LUNA_TRY
Search “LUNC”. LUNA_TRY is Terra 2.0, priced around a thousand times higher. USTC_TRY is the old stablecoin, not LUNC.
Place a limit order
Set your price and amount. The minimum order is 10 TRY. A limit order avoids paying the spread on a sudden move.
Check the exit before you need it
Open the LUNC withdrawal screen, note the fee, minimum and status, and copy the wallet address carefully. Expect the 1.5% chain tax on top.
LUNC-specific notes
Ticker naming is the most common mistake. On Binance TR, as on Binance globally, “LUNA” means Terra 2.0 and “LUNC” means Terra Classic. A quick sanity check is price magnitude: LUNC costs a fraction of a kuruş, while LUNA_TRY trades around 2 lira. Our LUNC vs LUNA explainer covers why two coins share one name. USTC_TRY is listed too; that is the collapsed stablecoin, explained on the USTC page.
Withdrawals deserve a separate check. When we read Binance’s public network table, LUNC withdrawals were disabled with the note that the wallet was under maintenance, while deposits stayed open. Binance TH showed the same status. The cause and start date were not stated. Binance TR’s own network table could not be read, so check the withdrawal status before you buy if you plan to move coins into self-custody.
Binance burns LUNC from its trading fees in monthly batches, which you can follow on our Binance LUNC burn page. Whether fees paid on Binance TR count toward those batches is not stated anywhere we found, so do not pick the platform on that basis.
Regulation and security record
Law No. 7518 of July 2024 brought crypto-asset service providers under the Capital Markets Board (SPK). Binance TR is row four on the board’s transitional list of operating platforms, dated 28 October 2026, kept under the transitional article of the Capital Markets Law. The board writes that inclusion does not mean a firm is authorised. So the accurate wording is “on SPK’s transitional list”, never “SPK-licensed”. In the sources we found, no trading platform outside the custody banks had yet received a final operating permit.
The regulatory history includes one fine. In December 2021 MASAK, Turkey’s financial crimes board, fined BN Teknoloji, the company now called Binance Turkey, 8 million lira, then about $751,000, for non-compliance with the anti-money-laundering law. That comes from press reports by CNBC and Hürriyet Daily News; we did not see the MASAK decision itself. Our research turned up no Binance TR-specific hack. That is not the same as proof that no incident has ever occurred.
App and support
The Binance TR app holds 4.74 stars from about 184,000 ratings on the Turkish App Store, which is a large and positive sample for a local exchange. It runs in Turkish and follows the familiar Binance layout, so anyone who has used the global app will find LUNC_TRY quickly. We did not test support response times and cannot score them on evidence. Use only the official app and site linked here, and treat Telegram “support agents” who message you first as scammers.
One trade, not two
A direct lira pair saves you the extra USDT conversion and its spread, which is the main reason Binance TR scores well on funding.
Alternatives
In Turkey the choice is narrow. Bitlo is the only other SPK-listed platform we found with LUNC, and only against USDT, on a much thinner book. Another route is to buy USDT with lira on BtcTurk or Paribu, withdraw it after the MASAK waiting period, and buy LUNC/USDT on an exchange that lists it. That means two trades, two spreads and a network fee. Our LUNC exchange list shows every venue we verified, and the Turkey LUNC guide covers tax and the legal background. Readers elsewhere in Asia can compare Bitkub for baht.
Check the memoFAQ
Is LUNC listed on Binance TR?
Yes. Binance TR lists LUNC against the Turkish lira as LUNC_TRY, and that market shares its order book with Binance’s global LUNC/TRY pair. Search for LUNC, not LUNA, because LUNA_TRY on Binance TR is Terra 2.0.
Is there a LUNC/BUSD pair on Binance TR?
No. The lira pair LUNC_TRY is the LUNC market on Binance TR. Binance retired BUSD, and the old LUNC/BUSD market on Binance’s global exchange is halted, so older guides that mention LUNC BUSD are out of date.
Is Binance TR licensed by the SPK?
Binance TR is on the Capital Markets Board’s transitional list of operating crypto platforms dated 28 October 2026. The board states that being on that list does not mean a firm is authorised, so it is not accurate to call Binance TR SPK-licensed.
What is the minimum LUNC order on Binance TR?
The LUNC_TRY market has a minimum order value of 10 Turkish lira and a quantity step of 1 LUNC. Because LUNC is priced at a fraction of a kuruş, 10 lira already buys thousands of coins.
Can I withdraw LUNC from Binance TR to my own wallet?
Binance TR does not publish its LUNC withdrawal fee and network rules openly, and Binance-group LUNC withdrawals were paused for wallet maintenance when we checked. Open the withdrawal screen in the app before you buy, and remember that the chain deducts a 1.5% burn tax on every withdrawal.
