The converter at the top of this page turns any amount of LUNC into US dollars, Turkish lira, Philippine pesos, Indonesian rupiah, Thai baht, Vietnamese dong, Korean won, Japanese yen, ringgit, Singapore and Hong Kong dollars, Taiwan dollars, Indian rupees or euros. It multiplies your amount by the live dollar price, then by a live exchange rate. If either rate is missing, it pauses instead of guessing.

That simple math hides two traps. First, LUNC prices carry so many zeros that one slipped decimal changes the answer a thousandfold. Second, most of those currencies have no LUNC market at all, so the figure you see is a calculation, not a price you can trade at. This page explains both, with worked examples you can repeat on the widget.

How the LUNC converter works

Enter an amount, pick a currency, and the result appears below with the rate used. The quick buttons fill in 100K, 1M, 10M, 100M and 1B LUNC, the sizes people actually search for. The swap button flips the direction, so you can type 100 dollars or 5,000 pesos and see how many LUNC that buys.

Under the hood there are two inputs. The LUNC price in dollars comes from live market data, the same feed as our LUNC price chart. The fiat rate comes from a public exchange-rate feed. Multiplying them gives the value in your currency. For lira, baht and rupiah, the result will sit close to the local exchange price, but not exactly on it, because local order books have their own supply and demand.

Because both inputs move, the result moves too. A LUNC price that is flat in dollars can still change in lira or won when the currency moves. When you compare a value with yesterday’s, check whether LUNC moved or your currency did.

Converting tiny prices without slipping a decimal

LUNC trades for a small fraction of a US cent. Exchanges quote it with eight or more decimals, and on chain one LUNC splits into 1,000,000 micro-units called uluna. Wallets sometimes show those raw micro-units, which is why a balance can look a million times bigger than it is. If a number looks absurd, check whether it is in LUNC or uluna before you panic or celebrate.

The safest habit is to think in millions. Multiplying a price by one million moves the decimal six places to the right. Multiplying by one billion moves it nine places. Do that once on paper and the converter’s answers will make sense at a glance.

Futures tickers add another trap. Binance and Bybit list perpetual contracts as 1000LUNCUSDT, a bundle of 1,000 coins. A futures quote is therefore a thousand times the spot price. Never plug a futures price into a conversion for coins in your wallet.

Worked examples, step by step

The examples below use round, made-up numbers so the logic is easy to follow. They are not live rates. Use the widget for the real figures.

1,000,000 LUNC to USD. Suppose LUNC trades at $0.00004. Multiply by one million and you get $40. At the same price, 10 million LUNC is $400, and one billion LUNC is $40,000. That is the whole calculation. The 1M and 1B buttons just save you the typing.

1 LUNC kaç TL? Keep the $0.00004 price and assume one dollar buys 50 lira. One LUNC is then 0.002 lira, which is a fifth of one kuruş. One million LUNC would be 2,000 lira. Turkish users can also check the live LUNC/TRY book on Binance or Binance TR, which is a real market, and see whether it trades a little above or below that calculated value.

LUNC to PHP. At the same price and an assumed 60 pesos per dollar, one LUNC is 0.0024 pesos and one million LUNC is 2,400 pesos. No exchange sells LUNC for pesos directly, so to get that money you would sell LUNC for USDT, then sell the USDT for pesos. Each step has a spread, so expect to receive a bit less.

Dollars to LUNC. Flip the converter and type $100. At $0.00004 per coin, that buys 2.5 million LUNC before fees. This is also why “I own millions of LUNC” is an ordinary sentence. Millions of coins are worth tens or hundreds of dollars, not millions.

Real fiat pairs vs calculated rates

Only a handful of currencies trade directly against LUNC. Everywhere else, the converter’s number is the dollar price times an exchange rate. The table shows which is which, based on the exchange listings we checked.

Most LUNC volume runs through USDT pairs on global exchanges such as Binance, KuCoin, Gate, MEXC, Bybit and Bitget. Because USDT tracks the dollar closely, a USDT price and a USD price are usually near-identical, but they are not the same asset. In Indonesia, Pintu shows a LUNC/IDR price feed that looked frozen when it was checked, so we cannot confirm it is tradable. Our LUNC exchanges guide has the full venue list, including delistings.

Notes by currency

Turkish lira. The lira is the strongest local market for LUNC. Binance’s LUNC/TRY book is the biggest fiat pair in the world for this coin, and Binance TR lists LUNC_TRY too. BtcTurk and Paribu do not list LUNC, and BtcTurk’s LUNA pair is Terra 2.0. See our Turkey guide and the Binance TR review.

Thai baht. Bitkub’s LUNA_THB pair is Terra Classic, confirmed by Bitkub’s own market data, with a minimum order of 10 baht. Its Terra 2.0 pair is stopped. Binance TH lists LUNC only against USDT. More in our Bitkub review and the Thailand page.

Indonesian rupiah. Indodax runs LUNC/IDR, priced below one rupiah per coin, but daily volume is very small. Tokocrypto and Bittime list LUNC/USDT only. The Indonesia guide covers the local rules.

Philippine peso, Vietnamese dong, ringgit, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan dollars. No LUNC pair exists in any of these. Coins.ph, MAX, BitoPro, Luno and HashKey do not list it. The converter value is a calculation, and real conversions go through USDT on a global exchange. That route carries regulatory risk in several of these markets, so read the country page first, for example the Philippines guide.

Korean won and Japanese yen. All five Korean won exchanges dropped the coin in May and June 2022, and none has relisted it. None of the major Japanese registered exchanges we checked lists LUNC either. Our Asia hub compares all eleven markets.

Why you receive less than the converter shows

The converter gives a mid-market reference. A real trade costs more, in several small slices. The first is the spread, the gap between the best buy and sell orders. On deep books like Binance’s LUNC/USDT it is tiny. On thin books such as LUNC/IDR, a large order can eat through several price levels, and that slippage can cost more than the fee.

Then come trading fees, withdrawal fees and, for cash, the cost of turning USDT into your local currency. Peer-to-peer sellers often add a markup, and card purchases get converted by your bank at its own rate. Trades inside an exchange’s order book are not taxed, but moving LUNC on chain adds the burn tax, set by governance at 1.5% and changeable by vote. Deposits to and withdrawals from exchanges are taxed too; only transfers between Binance’s own internal wallets are exempt. If your wallet fee does not cover the tax, it is taken from the amount sent, so the recipient gets slightly less. The burn tax guide explains who pays it.

A quick rule of thumb: before a big conversion, run a small test trade and compare what landed in your account with the converter’s figure. The difference is your real cost for that route.

Need USDT to start?

Most LUNC markets are priced in USDT. CEX.IO, where our buttons lead, does not list LUNC, but it sells USDT by Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay after verification. Send that USDT to an exchange with a LUNC pair, buy there, then withdraw to your own wallet.

Going the other way: from cash to LUNC

If you are converting money into LUNC rather than out of it, the route matters more than the rate. Lira and baht holders can often buy on a local pair directly. Almost everyone else buys USDT first, sends it to an exchange that lists LUNC, buys there, and then withdraws to a native Terra Classic wallet such as Galaxy Station or Keplr. Our how to buy LUNC guide walks through each step, and the wallet guide covers where to keep the coins.

Before you buy on any exchange, check that LUNC withdrawals are open. Binance has paused LUNC withdrawals for wallet maintenance before, and coins you cannot withdraw are coins you do not fully control. The exchange wallet page usually shows the network status next to the withdraw button.

Finally, remember what the converter cannot tell you: whether the price will hold. A converted value is a snapshot. For the bigger picture, our pages on the $1 question and LUNC supply explain what would have to change for those numbers to grow. Cross-check prices on CoinGecko if something looks off.

FAQ

1 LUNC kaç TL?

One LUNC is worth only a small fraction of a kuruş, so pick TRY in the converter above for the live figure. Unlike most Asian currencies, the lira has real LUNC/TRY markets on Binance and Binance TR, so the price there is set by Turkish buyers and sellers directly. Most Turkish traders think in prices per million LUNC because the per-coin number is so small.

How much is 1 LUNC in Philippine pesos?

No exchange runs a LUNC/PHP pair, so the peso value is calculated: the live dollar price multiplied by the dollar-to-peso rate. Choose PHP in the converter to see it. To turn LUNC into real pesos you would sell it for USDT on an exchange that lists LUNC, then sell the USDT for pesos on a local platform, paying a spread at each step.

How much is 1,000,000 LUNC in USD?

Multiply the live price by one million, which is the same as moving the decimal point six places to the right. The 1M button on the converter does it for you. As a labelled example, at a price of 0.00005 dollars one million LUNC would be worth 50 dollars before fees.

Can I trade LUNC directly for Indonesian rupiah?

Yes, Indodax runs a LUNC/IDR pair, but its order book is very thin, so large orders can move the price. Tokocrypto and Bittime list LUNC only against USDT. Be careful with Indodax’s LUNA/IDR pair, which is Terra 2.0, not Terra Classic.

Is there a LUNC to KRW or JPY trading pair?

No. Korea’s won exchanges all dropped the coin in May and June 2022 and none has relisted it, and none of the major Japanese exchanges we checked lists LUNC. The converter still shows won and yen values, but they are calculated from the dollar price, not traded.

Why does my exchange show a different value than the converter?

The converter uses one reference price and a mid-market exchange rate. Your exchange shows its own order book, with a gap between buy and sell prices, plus trading fees. Local pairs such as LUNC/TRY or Bitkub’s LUNA_THB can also trade at a small premium or discount to the dollar price.
